The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Sen. Kashim Shettima arrived Cotonou ahead of the presidential inauguration ceremony of H.E. Romuald Wadagni, President of the Republic of Benin scheduled for 24th May, 2026.
The Vice President’s visit underscores the longstanding cordial relationship and diplomatic ties between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Benin, founded on mutual respect, regional cooperation, and shared aspirations for peace, stability, and development within West Africa.
