Ambassador Mopelola Adeola-Ibrahim Presents Copies of Credentials to Benin’s Foreign Minister

The Ambassador-designate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Benin, H.E. Mopelola Adeola-Ibrahim, presented her Copies of Credentials (Copie d’Usage) to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Benin on Friday, 5 June 2026.

The presentation marks an important step in the formal diplomatic process preceding the presentation of Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Benin.

Notably, Ambassador Adeola-Ibrahim is the first Ambassador to be officially received by the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs, underscoring the longstanding cordial relations and strong diplomatic ties between Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
